- Beanstalk SEO
- Victoria, BC
- Director of SEO Services
Originally I was contracted by Beanstalk to do Search Engine Optimized Website Template conversions, converting old websites into Pure CSS & XHTML websites utilizing either PHP or Server Side Includes. After just a few projects for Beanstalk Search Engine Optimization I was offered enough money to leave the company I previously worked for them as the Director of SEO Services.
As Director of SEO Services it is my role to do advanced Search Engine Optimizations. This includes Template Conversions, Keyword Research & Analysis (Competitor Research & Density Optimization), Structural Optimizations, PHP optimizations, Mod Rewrites, Project Management, XHTML/CSS Template Slicing from Photoshop Images, Researching and Article Copywriting, Website Internet Marketing, Telephone Customer Service & Consulting, qualifying leads from incoming calls, SEO Strategy and Vendor Networking.
For the last 3.5 years I was in charge of the majority of SEO sales which has contributed to the company growing from a team of 3 in a basement, to a team of 11 fulltime SEO employees working in a more professional office setting. I have also implement changes to our SEO Packages to make them more cost effective for small businesses. During my tenure we grew our SEO client base from 7 active clients to over 200!

- Reboot Consulting Co.
- Victoria, BC
- Information Management Technology (IMT) Director
When I started at Reboot Consulting Co. my mandate was to evaluate the state of their IMT department, and to turn their department around. My roles as Reboot's IMT Director were Project Manager (Pitching Projects, Project Discovery Phase, Project Proposal Phase, Client / Graphics Designer coordination, Development and Deployment Phases), Domain Registry Admin, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 System Administrator, (X)HTML / CSS / PHP / MySQL Developer, Website Maintainer for 40+ domains, Search Engine Optimizer, Hosting and Email Corporate Support including Domain / Email Migrations and transfers, Maintainer of Keystone and rIntranet Content Management Systems (CMS) (Reboot Consulting's CMSes).
I also developed & managed two new products in Reboot Consulting's product line a new evolved CMS called rSEOCMS (retails for $2000 - $3000), and a corporate file collaboration tool called rDROPBOX ($350). Both of these projects were a combination of PHP & MySQL developed for a Linux platform.
Here are some of the websites I developed while at Reboot Consulting I'd suggest looking at Sunriver Estates (one of my favorites I took around 70% of the Photos on this website, and is fully Apache Mod Rewritten), Gone Insect Repellent Band (Nice balance between XHTML, CSS and Flash), Parker Johnston (Simple Minimalistic Coding Design), Lacasa On The Lake, and The Old Road Inn (Rebuilt existing website with Pure CSS Design/HTML 4.01, and added a PHP Photo Gallery).
Reboot Consulting no longer offers web design services.

Network Attached Devices Diagnostic System was a team based Capstone project which is an integral part of graduation from Camosun College Computer System Technology Program. The purpose of this project was to demonstrate practical software engineer skills. The project consisted of 2 x 3 month increments, the first increment was the documentation and initial project analysis period. For the second increment our team worked fulltime on location at the Pacific Forestry Center, designing software to monitor their network Linux systems, Solaris systems, and various hardware devices. For more information on the project click on the NADDS link, Capstone website, or the NADDS Capstone page. The final part of the project was to present our project at the Capstone symposium in front of a large professional audience. After completion of the project I registered our project as a Source Forge project under the GNU License, and I've been managing it as the project leader since.
- Other Experience
I've trimmed down my resume to better Search Engine Optimize (SEO) this page. I'm also experienced in Client Relation Management, I spent several years managing several Domino's Pizzas, have worked for Radio Shack, and several Internet Service Providers doing Modem based Telephone Technical Support.
